Welcome to the BEAT BEHIND THE DYKES website. I've been buying and selling records since the mid-80's. In 1993 I started my BEAT BEHIND THE DYKES mailorder company on a professional base by sending out lists by mail to collectors worldwide. I stopped doing so around 2010-2012. Ever since my selling activities are concentrated on the worldwide web (eBay, Discogs, Facebook, website, etc.). My website has been "at sleep" for some years, but I revised it in 2025. I'm specialized in sellin' worldwide beat, garage & psych 45's from the 60's and early 70's, but I also sell R&R, surf, soul and 70's/80's punk, mod & powerpop 45's. All records are graded as accurate as possible. If not satisfied with it, a full refund is possible. Grading = record/sleeve. I use the Record Collector grading system, so M (mint), EX (excellent), VG (very good), G (good) etc. +(+)/-(-) = slightly better/worse than .... Some abbreviations that I use: wo(b)c = writing on (back)cover; wol = writing on label; toc/tol = tape on cover/label; rw = ringwear; soc/sol = sticker on cover/label; lt/lw = label tear/wear; nc = no center; co(h) = cut out (hole); dh = drill hole.

For customers from European countries, payment directly into my bank account (ask for IBAN/BIC) is encouraged. Cash in EURO only in a (registered) letter is fine, but only at your own risk. Records will be held max. two weeks unless other agreements have been made.
